Comments Off on CRA Recognizes Top Experts And Top Novices Of The 2010 Season

The CRA would like to congratulate the Top 10 Experts and Novices of the 2010 season. 2010 featured phenomenal racing in the expert and novice ranks and with a very talented group of novice riders bumping to the expert grid, 2011 is expected to feature just as many hard-fought battles throughout the field.

Robert Pretts took home the #1 plate with a very consistent run of wins and podium finishes through the entire season. Aaron Anderson and a resurgent Jesse Nelson definitely earned their year-end positions by taking the fight to the 1000cc grid on their very capable Yamaha R6’s. Tony Kasper absolutely dominated the races he entered and was able to set new 600cc track records on the Brainerd Donnybrooke Course as well as the Brainered Competition Course. Congratulations to the entire top-10 expert points finishers on a fantastic season!

The Novice Middleweight & Heavyweight races were some of the most hotly contested in recent memory. Novice #1 winner Jonathan Shore, Chase Sellers, Anthony Myhre, Kris Skellenger and Jamie Boyle all took wins throughout the season in races featuring bar-to-bar racing, and at times paint-trading, creating very close championship battles for each class. Shore took the overall Novice honors by racing as many races as he could (at one point he ran 11 races on one day!) and a special mention goes out to Young Gun Cole Speer for dominating the Lightweight Novice grid from his first-ever race weekend in June throughout the end of the season. Well done to you all!
