The Central Roadracing Association and Bob Fier Racing/Rocky Mountain Kawasaki are looking to make the already exciting Ninja 250 class even more exciting for the final CRA race weekend of the year, happening September 23-25 on the Brainerd International Raceway Donnybrooke Course. Bob Fier Racing and Rocky Mountain Kawasaki sponsor the Ninja 250 spec class in the CRA and payout for the top 3 experts, and top 8 Novice finishers in total weekend points. For the September weekend, Bob Fier Racing has decided to double the top Expert payout to a very generous $500!

The racing in this class has been a thrilling corner to corner battle all the way to the finish, each race with 3 sprints per weekend. Most of the grids are showing about 14 Ninja 250s, and the spec rules are keeping the racing close! The exception to this close racing has been the one rider that keeps breaking out front and dominating the Expert class, and leaving the rest of the grid battling for the entire race. That rider is Christian Schmidt. Bob Fier Racing would like to double the 1st place payout, in an effort to attract anyone that wants to challenge our current points leader Schmidt for that top spot. So far two very fast riders have decided to take on Schmidt for the top podium spot during the September event. Gerry Signorelli (AMA #88), and Rob Pretts (CRA #1), will be challenging Schmidt’s class domination. It should also be mentioned that Schmidt is a very fast expert club racer who routinely wins races on just about every bike in every class from 1000s down to Ninja 250s. So far, this is shaping up to be a great battle of some of the fastest club racers around on the mighty Ninja 250s!

If you are a Ninja 250 racer and would like to take on the challenge, come join the CRA and race on the legendary Brainerd International Raceway. The payouts for the Ninja 250 spec class are based on total points for the weekend. The points are earned from 3 sprint races total. The payouts are as follows:

Expert, 1st = $500, 2nd = $125, 3rd = $100

Novice, 1st = $250, 2nd = $125, 3rd = $100, 4th = $80, 5th = $60, 6th= $50, 7th = $40, 8th = $30

The CRA’s Ninja 250 class is additionally sponsored by, Michelin, Bridgestone, Hotbodies, Momentum Photo, EBC, and Zalusky Advanced Riding School. With these great contingency sponsors, there are several opportunities to win back some of the cost of what is already a very fun and affordable racing class! Ninja 250 racers, come join the CRA September 23rd-25th at Brainerd International Raceway for an exciting event!
